terms

Use what helps. Make your own call.

This is a personal site run by one person. There is no company behind it, no support desk, and no fine print designed to catch you out. These are the rules I would explain out loud.

The short version

The work here is shared to help you think and build. Read it, link to it, and quote a short passage with credit. Ask before republishing the whole thing.

Who owns what

Unless a page credits somebody else, the articles, videos, images, transcripts, and site copy are mine. Work credited to somebody else stays theirs.

The source code for this site is available under the MIT License. That license covers the software. It does not turn the published content into open source material.

Using the work

Sharing a link is always welcome. Quoting a short section with a clear credit and link back is fine too. If you want to republish a full article, transcript, image, or collection, ask first. The answer is often yes.

Do not use my name, face, logo, or work to suggest I endorse a product, service, or opinion unless I actually said I do.

Accuracy and advice

I try to make the work practical and accurate, but software changes and I get things wrong. Check versions, read the official documentation, and test the idea somewhere safe before it gets near production.

Nothing here creates a client, employment, financial, legal, or other professional relationship. It is experience shared in public, not a substitute for advice from somebody who knows your situation.

Where this site sends you

Links out are links out. Once you are on YouTube, Twitch, GitHub or anywhere else, their terms apply and mine have stopped.

The part every site has

The site is provided as it is. I run it carefully, but I am one person, and it can be down, wrong, or briefly very strange. Use what helps, verify what matters, and make your own call.

If something here causes you a loss, I am sorry, and I cannot be liable for it, to the extent the law where you live lets me say that. Where it does not, the law wins.

Privacy

The privacy page explains what the site stores, why it is stored, and how to ask for it to be removed.

Changing these terms

The date is in the sidebar and it only moves when something actually changed. A change applies from that date forward.

Not a lawyer

I wrote this myself, in plain English, because a page nobody can read protects nobody. It has not been through a solicitor yet. If you are reading it as a lawyer and something here is unenforceable or missing, tell me and I will fix it rather than defend it.
